The fake "Cash App" text is a classic account-takeover scam: it dangles free money ("$500 is waiting"), then asks for the six-digit sign-in code that just landed on your phone. Handing over that code lets the scammer log into your account. Real Cash App never asks for it.
This template recreates the exact bait-and-code pattern so you can teach the number-one rule: never share a verification code anyone texts you to ask for. The fake claim link (not cash.app) is the second tell.
Use for: scam-awareness content, fraud-prevention explainers, and digital-safety education. Not for deceiving real people.
