Wrong-number pranks are the gold standard of harmless text comedy because they almost write themselves. The bit: a confident-sounding "old friend" texts the wrong person and refuses to admit it, building tension as the recipient tries to extract the truth.
This template captures the moment the prank gets uncomfortable โ the sender has called the recipient "babe" and dropped a plan reference. The next few messages in the video can go anywhere: the sender doubles down, the recipient panics, or the whole thing turns out to be the sender's actual partner texting from a new phone.
Common follow-ups creators use: the sender starts describing the wrong house in increasing detail, calls the recipient by a name that isn't theirs, or refers to an inside joke the recipient has no context for. Each twist resets the comedic clock.
