Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PostMock ("PostMock", "we", "us") handles information when you use postmock.com (the "Service"). We've written it in plain language. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
The short version
- The screenshots and messages you create stay in your browser — we don't store them.
- We use privacy-respecting analytics to count anonymous visits.
- We may show ads (Google AdSense), which use cookies.
- Optional AI and Instagram-import features send limited data to processors to function.
- We never sell your personal data.
1. Content you create
The conversations, names, images and other content you build with our generators are processed entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded to or stored on our servers, and we cannot see them. When you close the tab, that content is gone. Images you download are saved by your own browser to your device.
2. The AI feature
If you use the "Generate with AI" feature, the short text prompt you enter is sent to our AI provider (Groq) to generate a response. We send only the prompt text needed to produce the result; we do not attach your identity. We do not permanently store these prompts. The provider processes them under its own terms.
3. The Instagram import feature
If you choose to import a profile by username, our server requests that account's public profile information (name, public profile photo, public verified status) from Instagram's public endpoints and returns it to your browser to populate the mockup. We may briefly cache a public profile result to reduce repeat requests. We only access information that is already public, and only when you explicitly request it. We are not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
4. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — such as which pages are visited and from which country — so we can improve the Service. This data is not used to personally identify you.
5. Cookies and advertising
We may display advertisements through third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ads Settings.
- You can learn more, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies, at aboutads.info.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we store almost no personal data, there is usually nothing to retrieve — but you can contact us with any request.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data the Service processes. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but keeping content in your browser by design reduces risk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use means you accept the current version.
